6 Sirena Kings, Paphos, Cyprus: This spacious ground floor apartment is on a small private development in Paphos, away from traffic but very near the centre of activity. It consists of a lounge (with bed-settee for two if required), a generous kitchen area, bathroom (with bath/shower), and two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with two single beds, the other with one double bed.
The lounge opens onto a patio which overlooks the development’s own private swimming pool (recently refurbished). The apartment also has the advantage of a paved garden area which extends to the side and rear, giving plenty of room for sun-bathing whatever the position of the sun. Sun-beds and outdoor table and chairs are provided.
Sirena Kings is within a few minutes walk of the many restaurants and bars in Tomb of the Kings Road, and a 10 – 12 minute walk to the nearest sandy beach. The highly attractive harbour with its castle and fishing boats is just a five minute drive away, as is the night-life area of Paphos. The main shopping district of Paphos is also five minutes by car in the opposite direction, where apart from the shops there is a large market plus bars and restaurants which overlook the town below.
Scenic areas such as Coral Bay are within 10 or 15 minutes’ drive, while Paphos airport is 30 minutes by car or taxi. Although car hire is quite reasonable (and there are plenty of car hire firms to choose from at the airport, along Tomb of the Kings Road, or near the harbour), taxis are reasonable and the local bus service is cheap and frequent. A usefully large supermarket is within seven minutes walk of the apartment.
